Dr. Dail W. Longaker
General Surgery, Thoracic and Peripheral Vascular Surgery |
Born and raised in Newport News, Virginia, Dr. Longaker received his
undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his M.D. from the
University of Virginia School of Medicine. After several years with
the U.S. Navy, he completed his residency in General Surgery at the
University of Virginia Medical Center as well as his residency in
Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the
American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American
College of Surgeons.
Dr. Longaker joined Dr. George Bunch in the practice of general,
thoracic, vascular and laproscopic surgery in Columbia in 1963 and
has been in the same practice as South Carolina Surgical Associates,
which merged in 1996 with Columbia Surgical Associates to form
Surgical Associates of South Carolina. Retired 2001. |
